SPATIKA HOTEL, MANIPAL
Project Brief
The building is a mixed-use structure with commercial space at the podium and a hotel above, located in a prime locality at the intersection of major roads. The façade has a contemporary and neo-classical character that balances minimalism with ornamental details, emphasizing symmetry and proportion. The overall design creates a prestigious identity for the building, suitable for both hospitality and commercial use.
Design Intent
The lighting design accentuates the building’s architectural hierarchy and symmetry, ensuring it stands out as an elegant landmark at night. A balanced interplay of vertical and horizontal lighting expressions highlights the façade. The cornice and crown are delicately washed with soft light, framing the structure and enhancing its neo-classical theme. Together, these lighting layers establish a strong visual brand identity of grandeur, elegance, and sophistication.
